
With over 30 years of law enforcement and security leadership experience, Rod Forey is a seasoned federal and state operations expert specializing in strategic planning, compliance oversight, physical security, emergency response, and investigative services. A U.S. military veteran and former State Police officer, Rod has held senior roles within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), including Special Assistant to the Director, Field Security Manager, and Senior Inspector, and served as a trusted technical advisor to DHS leadership.
His experience spans managing classified information, overseeing COMSEC programs, and leading complex criminal and administrative investigations under federal law. He has directed large-scale security and law enforcement programs, coordinated critical infrastructure protection efforts, and led high-impact emergency preparedness and response operations.
In 2024, Rod served as the team lead on a strategic initiative with the Stephen Group, helping the Departments of Safety and Corrections develop efficiency reforms under the Arkansas First initiative.
Holding an active TS-SCI clearance, Rod brings deep knowledge of policy development, workforce training, interagency coordination, and public-private partnerships. He is a proven leader in directing multidisciplinary teams and programs that protect national assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen mission resilience across government sectors. Rod holds a Master’s Degree Criminal Justice American International College. His educational foundation also includes a BS in Liberal studies and Communication from State University of New York.
